There’s nothing I love more than fresh flowers to welcome Spring back into my life, and after receiving this beautiful bunch from a very special someone, I felt inspired to share a few of my other favourite things from the Spring season so far.
Starting with these very pink sunglasses from Zero UV. After a long winter of hibernating and exclusively wearing black, it always takes me a little while to re-introduce colour again. These fun sunnies were the perfect transitional accessory to let the brights come back into my wardrobe.
This very jewelled necklace always helps to step up a simple outfit, pair it with a plain white T-shirt and suddenly your casual outfit is ready for Friday night drinks.
Some other items that made my Spring favourites list were these two creamy lipsticks from Sephora. They not only smell like candy but they also moisturise as much as a lip balm whilst providing a subtle colour. These vanilla scented tealights which instantly make any room feel more cosy, this Flora bra from Lonely Hearts and of course, this new Chanel bag that has barely left my side since it was bought on a recent trip to Rome.
What’s making your favourites list this Spring?
Today I bring you a short little post featuring this extremely warm, down jacket from Style Nanda.
Every single time I wear this coat I receive so many comments. Most of which sound something along the lines of – “Oh my gosh, you are so puffy!” or “That is the biggest jacket I’ve ever seen.”
Yes it’s true that when I wear this jacket I feel exceptionally puffy, but I also feel delightfully snug!
WHAT I’M WEARING:
Coat – StyleNanda
Jumper – Zara
Jeans – Rollas
Boots – The Iconic
Until next time,
Todays outfit features this Maurie and Eve sequin jumper that I bought at Sydney Fashion Weekend back in May.
You know when you see a garment from across the room and you do that determined half run to grab it before anyone else? Well this amazing jumper had that effect on me. I love that the sequins are velvet on one side, creating this luscious, matte effect, and the slick and shiny reverse side catches any light, taking this cropped jumper from casual to glamorous.
I paired this with black jeans and some patent leather heels for a sophisticated night look that is comfortable and warm for this chilly winter.
WHAT I’M WEARING:
Jumper – Maurie and Eve
Jeans – Rollas
Shoes – Marco Gianni
So the past few weeks I have been kept on my toes (quite literally in my attempt to be taller) as I was fortunate enough to be chosen as a dancer/model in the N.L.P Women runway show for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia!
Now normally a 5 ft 6 girl like myself would never be able to walk a runway in fashion week, but N.L.P being super bold and innovative, decided to use dancers instead of models to showcase the sporty and practical side to their glamorous swimwear.
Here are a few snaps from the show!
You can see the full show HERE
The response was absolutely amazing and N.L.P’s decision to use dancers proved to be a huge success!
A special thanks to:
and of course, a huge thank you to N.L.P !!!
You can shop the collection straight off the runway on STYLERUNNER.
Today I bring you a short and sweet little OOTD post that I recently donned on a Sunday. This ones for the lazy days when you’re not quite in the mind frame to put together a creative outfit after a big week. Although very simple, I like the effortlessness of this outfit and I loved even more how comfortable I felt for a day of running errands.

Tshirt – Portmans
Shorts – Cotton On
Shoes – Topshop
Sunglasses – Kookai

Today’s outfit features this amazing skirt by the Australian label Cameo. I absolutely love the flattering shape that the heavy fabric creates and the monochromatic floral detailing. It’s a very versatile piece that would suit all seasons, and can be dressed up or down to suit any occasion.
I spent my day having brunch in the gorgeous suburb of Bronte in Sydney’s East, so I opted for a more casual look by pairing this skirt with a YSL logo T-shirt.
WHAT I’M WEARING
Tshirt – Etsy
Skirt – Cameo
Shoes – Wanted
Bag – Kate Spade
Sunglasses – Asos
Photography thanks to a special friend and also the owner of my new favourite Instagram account, ‘FriendsWithSalad’
If you’re anything like me and you find it hard to get inspired to create yummy and nutritious meals, Friends With Salad is there to show you how to make something wonderful for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert too!
For my last post of 2013, I bring you this cute outfit featuring this TOPSHOP skort.
I feel like this piece is super versitile and can be dressed up or down to suit the weather wherever you may be this holiday season! I almost wish I was enjoying a white Christmas with some of you over in the UK, so I could tuck a fluffy white jumper into the front of the skort and top it off with some little heeled boots. But since it’s 30 degrees over here in Sydney, I’ll do my best to adapt it for summer.
Skort – TOPSHOP
Shoes – Windsor Smith
Tank – TOPSHOP
Sunglasses – Zero UV
I hope you all had a very merry Christmas, and I wish you a Happy New Year!
See you next year!
