There’s nothing I love more than fresh flowers to welcome Spring back into my life, and after receiving this beautiful bunch from a very special someone, I felt inspired to share a few of my other favourite things from the Spring season so far.
Starting with these very pink sunglasses from Zero UV. After a long winter of hibernating and exclusively wearing black, it always takes me a little while to re-introduce colour again. These fun sunnies were the perfect transitional accessory to let the brights come back into my wardrobe.
This very jewelled necklace always helps to step up a simple outfit, pair it with a plain white T-shirt and suddenly your casual outfit is ready for Friday night drinks.
Some other items that made my Spring favourites list were these two creamy lipsticks from Sephora. They not only smell like candy but they also moisturise as much as a lip balm whilst providing a subtle colour. These vanilla scented tealights which instantly make any room feel more cosy, this Flora bra from Lonely Hearts and of course, this new Chanel bag that has barely left my side since it was bought on a recent trip to Rome.
What’s making your favourites list this Spring?
When most of us meet new people we tend to shake hands and smile politely. But when I met a friends’ friend the other day, I asked to steal his jumper. I think protocol suggests that you should wait at least a while before stealing your guy friends clothes, but then again not every boy owns a jumper as DELICIOUS as this one.
Since this sweater speaks for itself, I kept it simple with some faded black jeans, these amazing ASOS sneakers and topped it off with my newest Zero UV sunglasses that were sent to me last week.

To Mitch – I can’t promise that you’ll be getting this back!
Until next time!
Once every so often, you come across and item of clothing that just feels perfect for you.
For me, this top is one of them.
I absolutely adore the stitched, leafy detailing on the sheer, white fabric and the black contrast collar. I bought this top online from Style Nanda for just $25 and paired it with this black leather skirt that I bought for 10 euros in an opshop in Paris.
Such a simple outfit to create, but one that I would feel great wearing for a night out with friends.
Until next time!
October in Sydney is coming to an end and you know what that means, four months of 30 degree summer days to look forward to!
I personally love the summer and wish it was warm all year round, but this year I wasn’t quite ready to end my love affair with jeans, coats, jackets and layers. I decided it was time for a little city break holiday to revisit and farewell winter, and where better to fly off to than Melbourne!
Melbourne is a busy little city full of cute cafes, boutique shopping and rooftop bars,
all of which happen to be three of my favourite things.
I will share some of my Melbourne adventures with you over the next week.
Until then, you can follow my Instagram to see what I got up to: kateskelly
